ReplyDeleteI like that you have investigated the words that you were not sure of to help grow your understanding of your volcanoes topic. I like the word zapped. We call words like this onomatopoeia. They are words that create a sound when you read or say them. They are used quite often in comic books, like pow, bang, wham. Can you think of some other examples?

I like the word fumes because it sounds very funny and weird. But maybe you should add a little bit of colour so it can look eye-catching.
